Getting Ready To Fail

As I publish my blog, I realize that I am putting something out there for all to see. This is how I communicate, this is who I am, this is what I know.

While I share all of my insights with you I understand that I do not know everything, I am learning as I go.  From basic errors to informative errors. With that said, I am ready to fail. I am also ready for all to see me fail.  However, I am most importantly ready to learn from those failures and succeed because of them.

One thing I hope people can get from reading what I write is that putting yourself out there is the first and most important part of growing and making something of yourself.  Fear or failure will only deny success.  If you are content with where you are and what you have, you have already lost sight of what life is really about. Growing through every challenge you face is part of it.  Ask philosophers, or those who you admire.

For a long time I worried more about what others would think of me if I spoke up.  I didn’t want to offend anyone and I didn’t want to seem out of place.  I learned respect, but with respect also came fear.  There is a healthy medium that we can all work towards.  It goes hand in hand in the sense that sometimes you will sacrifice your personal feelings  for the well being or someone else, you fail yourself.  Other times you will just piss them off because they may not understand you, then you fail others.
Yes, I promise I may fail (with elegance, as any lady would), but to me, it is just part of my success.

Applying failure to marketing. Every bit of news, webinar, article, audiobook, or source of information I come across gives me more understanding on putting the puzzle together. Social media marketing is an ever evolving industry in which the game is your own right now, strategies will be thought up and tried.  Even companies like Belvedere fail.  More recently an ad campaign on Facebook sent out a message that was not perceived well. However, because the company’s marketing team failed to respect the general public’s values, they probably got more notice than they would have otherwise.  So cheers to failures, and cheers to success! Next round of Belvedere is on me!

Oh and Ke$ha knows what I’m talking about just listen to this song.
